International Beer Day (IBD) is a celebration on the first Friday of every August founded in 2007 in Santa Cruz, California by Jesse Avshalomov. International Beer Day began as a celebration at the founders’ local bar, but has since expanded to become a worldwide event Specifically, International Beer Day is a global celebration of beer, taking place in pubs, breweries, and backyards all over the world. It’s a day for beer lovers everywhere to raise a toast to our brewers and bartenders and rejoice in the greatness of beer! International Beer Day has three declared purposes:
To gather with friends and enjoy the deliciousness that is beer.
To celebrate the dedicated men and women who brew and serve our beer.
To bring the world together by celebrating the beers of all nations and cultures on this one remarkable day.
If you brew your own beer, share your brews with friends and family and get their feedback. Spend your evening at a bar trying out new types of beer. Take a brewery tour and spend time learning the science behind beer making.
In such a wonderful holiday, choosing to wear a T-shirt or a group of T-shirt with family and friends and we raise a beer and there are awesome pictures that are really happy!
